The Baden-Powell Scouts of Ireland are affiliated to the Baden-Powell Scouts Association (UK). We are proud to uphold the same Scout programme, promise and law that the founder envisaged since the foundations of Scouting in 1908. The Baden-Powell Scouts have international branches all over the world in Germany, Denmark, Ghana, Canada and Argentina. 

The Baden-Powell Scouts are proud members of the World Federation of Independent Scouts. The World Federation of Independent Scouts (WFIS) was formed in Laubach, Germany in 1996. The World Federation of Independent Scouts is open to any Scouting association that is not affiliated with another international organization. WFIS requires that member associations "follow, and use, Baden-Powell's original program, traditions, uniforms, morals, ethics, and structure as laid out in "Scouting for Boys". At present there are 53 WFIS-affiliated associations in 32 countries across the world.
